I saw the sun rising from west....

There was nothing special about today's morning. Rather i had a bad dream in which i found myself locked in Veronica's Room. No No. Veronica's not some evil neighbour of mine or some childhood's fairy tale evil character .Yesterday night I went to watch Inter-hostel drama event in IIT Delhi where one of the participating hall performed this play titled Veronica's Room. It was a really superb performance and i enjoyed the play very much, although i am a comedy loving person and not much a fan of mystery thrillers. Don't worry; this blog is not a review of the play.

I was struggling to wake up. I had to separately tell my heart, mind and body to wake up and i couldn't find my soul as it was lost somewhere in a deep slumber. I finally sat down on my bed when my alarm ringed for the fourth or fifth time. It was 8 10 AM and I could see the sun outside my window. It was looking beautiful. I wished the sun good morning. I was blissfully watching its perfectly round shape.

How come the sun is not bright enough at 8’o clock in the morning when there is no cloud and when usually at 7’o clock in the morning it’s hard to see the sun with naked eyes without getting them strained. Then I tilted my head a little towards my right and to my surprise the sun is no longer visible to me, as if it had disappeared somewhere. I adjusted my head back to the position where I saw it first. Again, I could see a perfectly round sun without any strain to my eyes. I rubbed my eyes to make sure that I was not dreaming again. Good lord, what is this? Through the wide window of mine, sitting at the same spot on my bed, facing the sun and turning only my head slowly towards left and right and up and down, I found the sun playing hide and seek without asking me to count before it hides every time. It was visible from only one angle and it was getting disappeared when viewed from the other. The sky was all clear and there were no trees where it could possibly hide. I jumped out of my bed and went near my window to see what is exactly happening with me. Same was the case there. It was Visible from some angles and not visible from other (Talking about angles from where it should normally be visible). When I was getting lost in this game of hide and seek between me and the sun, I realised I am looking in the west direction as my room is in the west side and this window is on the parallel façade to my room entrance.

I was totally shocked for a moment. I turned to wake my roommate to check this unusual phenomenon, when I saw through the ventilator above the entrance door of my room the sun roaring with brightness.(Well, this is the east side.) A perfectly beautiful image of the sun shining in the east was getting formed on the window glasses on the west side. Well the mystery was solved and there was no need to wake my roommate who was already frustrated with my every 10 minutes interval alarm.

It was a beauty to watch the sun rising from the west and shining brightly in the east and meanwhile I felt my soul also awake.
